1 PicADay Project: Day 273

PacAKracRs

This is my husband’s band, PacAKracRs.  This was taken at Third and Lindsley here in Nashville TN with my Canon EOS Rebel XT and edited in Picnik.

Their sound is a mixture of heavy grooves, cool changes with influences of pop, jazz and R&B.  They are working on their first album and I can’t wait to hear the completed project because they are awesome and that’s the truth!

1 PicADay Project: Day 251

Prom Guys

My son Zach attended his Senior Prom last week. Since his girlfriend is currently in Florida, he went along with two other couples. Here is a photo of the guys doing their best modeling poses. Zach is on the right, Jake in the middle and Thomas on the left. Aren’t they handsome?

This photo was taken at The Parthenon in Nashville’s Centennial Park. Nashville’s Parthenon is an exact full scale replica of the original in Athens Greece.

(edited in Picnik)

To see a previous photo that I took of the Parthenon replica click here. I posted it on the 8th day of this 365 photoblog. https://jansmith2911.wordpress.com/2009/08/22/1-picaday-project-day-8/

1 PicADay Project: Day 225

SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN NASHVILLE TN….YAY!

Took this, among others, at Ellington Agricultural Center today.  Used Picnik online to edit it.

1 PicADay Project: Day 193

I visited “The Gulch” community on the southside of nashville and took this photo of the train tracks near there.

1 PicADay Project: Day 190

This is an old building down in the heart of Nashville. Love the texture of the old wood and bricks.

1 PicADay Project: Day 180

Took this photo from a bridge in downtown Nashville looking across at Union Station.  If you don’t look too close at the cars in the foreground you could almost think it’s a photo from long ago.
