Myrtle the Turtle
Just a little something my boss, Ashley, brought back from Myrtle Beach. Isn’t he cute?
(Taken with Canon SX110 and edited in Picnik)
from my perspective
Here’s a couple of photos of my son on snow day. He wanted me to take his picture with the glasses he got from the eye doctor the day before. They were to protect his eyes because he got them dialated. He thought they were pretty cool looking.
BTW…here’s a link to my new blog. It’s called janlovesdecor. Check it out.
Ok, so today’s Church Day and I threw my hubby’s little Canon PowerShot SX 110 into my purse because now I have to be committed to doing this.
I walked around the church (between services by the way) looking for interesting stuff to photograph and I found several things that I really liked and, wow, this is going to be hard sometimes to pick a favorite. Maybe some days I’ll let you guys pick your favorite if I can’t come up with just one.
I walked up one of the aisles of the church and sat down on the front pew and looked over and saw the two glasses of water that our Pastor uses to wet his whistle after a ‘dry’ sermon…just a joke Pastor Dan, sorry. 🙂 His sermons are NEVER dry…he’s awesome!
I clicked a couple of times on the glasses with the light shining through them and edited this one a small amount in Corel Paint Shop Pro 2x. I call this one “Pastor Dan’s Holy Water”. Hope you enjoy!!!
If you want to see some of the other pictures I took, you can go to www.janscapturedmemories.com and look in the folder called ‘Church Day’. I’ll post them later today.
