1 PicADay Project: Day 251

Prom Guys

My son Zach attended his Senior Prom last week. Since his girlfriend is currently in Florida, he went along with two other couples. Here is a photo of the guys doing their best modeling poses. Zach is on the right, Jake in the middle and Thomas on the left. Aren’t they handsome?

This photo was taken at The Parthenon in Nashville’s Centennial Park. Nashville’s Parthenon is an exact full scale replica of the original in Athens Greece.

(edited in Picnik)

To see a previous photo that I took of the Parthenon replica click here. I posted it on the 8th day of this 365 photoblog. https://jansmith2911.wordpress.com/2009/08/22/1-picaday-project-day-8/

  1. How debonair. How urbane. What confidence! Great job, Mom and Photographer.

  2. Great portrait! I like how each, aham, model is exuding their own personality. Zach actually stands out for three reasons: his clothes are different, he is facing the camera and he is smiling. Could be the cover of an album! (or, rather, CD…) šŸ™‚

    • Thanks Tracy. Yeah, his clothes are different because he’s such a quirky, artistic soul…he had me take him to Goodwill and the Southern Thrift Store to buy his outfit. Didn’t bother me any because the whole outfit cost less than $20. šŸ™‚

  3. Great photograph. I see you are 2/3 through -keep kickin it!
