1 PicADay Project: Day 365

I’ll just leave you with a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Truman Show……..

Good morning! And in case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

Just Django, a cute little friend I met last night.

Light Show

Now that I’m here near the end, I can’t seem to get any inspiration. I’ve stooped to light painting, or whatever you call it when you push the shutter button and shake the camera in front of lights. Not much skill to it, but sometimes you get some cool looking colors. Here’s one that I took of the dashboard lights in my car.

Dinner for Two

Tuesday night my husband made dinner for me.  Everybody all together now….AWWWW how sweet of him.  He made broiled salmon with cayenne, dill, lemon juice and olive oil–sauteed shrimp with cayenne, butter and fresh garlic–asparagus–salad.  It was delicious.  This photo does not do it justice but I had to snap one before we ate.  Does it make you hungry?

1 PicADay Project: Day 360

Wow, I can’t believe that I only have 5 more days on this project!!!  It’s gone by so quickly!

Here’s a photo of some peppers that I was cutting for my husband’s omelette the other night.  They were so beautiful and colorful that I couldn’t resist taking some shots of them.  I think it took me about 40 minutes to actually get them cut up.  I guess my husband will cut them up himself next time. 🙂

Picture Show (Mirror setting)

Here’s yesterday’s photo using Picture Show’s mirror setting.  This setting is fun to play with on photos because it makes them abstract and really interesting looking.

Here’s another iPhone of the piano keys on the piano in our atrium lobby.  BTW our church is the best church in the world. (Christ Church Nashville )  Click here to see more about it.

Going Down?

Last Friday night while I was waiting on my daughter to get out of a Praise and Worship meeting with her friends at our church I decided to go inside to our atrium lobby and take some photos with my iPhone and use them to play around with my two new iPhone apps. (Plastic Bullet and Picture Show)

Here’s a photo looking down our escalator. It kinda turned out abstract and you can see the TV Screen in between them hanging on the wall.   I’ll post a few more in my next posts.

Praying Mantis with Bum Eye

I found this Praying Mantis on the light pole outside the church tonight.  He wasn’t praying at the time so I asked him to come in and pray with me but he wouldn’t budge.  After I looked at the photos on the laptop I realized that he was blind in one eye or at least his right eye was ripped anyway.  Poor thing.  He was so still for a little while but when he started acting like he was going to jump I decided to leave him alone.  Bugs give me the heebie jeebies. Gazing: Part deux

In the photo that I posted yesterday of Madi gazing up at something…here’s what she saw when she looked up.  Does anybody know what and where this is?
