1 PicADay Project: Day 364

iPhone Self Portrait and Only 1 More to Go!

I’m so appreciative of all who have stopped by and you who have left comments/ compliments.  I’ve enjoyed meeting (and I use that loosely) you here on the ‘blososphere” (sp) and I’m just in awe at the talented artists I’ve come across since last August.  I’ve learned quite a bit this year and I am still going to take that photography course.  I’ve only been talking about it for a year.  But hey, time and money you know.

About 10 weeks from now I will turn 50.  I’m so grateful to God for blessing me in my life thus far. I’m planning a big milestone birthday celebration!  It will be catered, my husband’s band (LeeAnn Womack’s band) will play jazz and I will be displaying 100 of my favorite photos from this blog.  My party guests, if they so choose, can take one home with them.    Maybe I’ll come back and post some photos from my party. (sorry about the name dropping, but that’s what we Nashvillian’s are so good at.)

I will be starting a new blog in the next month and it will be called “Grace Happens”. I will place the link to it on this blog in a few weeks. I don’t know if I will post on this blog anymore, I will probably incorporate my photos on the new blog. (That is, if I can figure out how to work WordPress.org) It’s greek to me so far.

I’m making it sound so final, but I will be visiting you guys from time to time.

Only one more tomorrow.  I’ll try to make it good. 🙂

The LORD bless you and keep you;  the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Sweet Hadley

I met this sweet little girl at my friend, Lisa’s house on Sunday.  She is looking out the back door watching the kids play.

1 PicADay Project: Day 322

Here’s another wedding photo from the wedding I ‘played/interned’ at last Saturday. During the wedding couple’s first dance on the back porch of the mansion, a very strong thunderstorm came up and drove everyone inside. Here is a photo of the bride looking out on the foggy/rainy weather from the mansion’s front porch.

My son, Zach.  One of my two awesome kids! He just graduated high school…YAY, we made it!

1 PicADay Project: Day 279

I asked my husband to take this photo of me. Got my nose pierced. Look real close because it’s really small.

It was not what I expected. They shoved it through with a little cork tool. OUCH! … Pretty intense!

He took it with his iPhone and I edited it on my IPhone.

Madi and Her Guitar (revised)

Ok, so the more I looked at the photo for today, the more things bothered me about it.  So I played with it again and here’s another version that I like better.

1 PicADay Project: Day 262

Ok, I need some real critiques here. I’m not very good at exposure or portraits. I was playing around tonight to try and get some shots for Zach’s graduation announcements. Let me know.
