1 PicADay Project: Day 364

iPhone Self Portrait and Only 1 More to Go!

I’m so appreciative of all who have stopped by and you who have left comments/ compliments.  I’ve enjoyed meeting (and I use that loosely) you here on the ‘blososphere” (sp) and I’m just in awe at the talented artists I’ve come across since last August.  I’ve learned quite a bit this year and I am still going to take that photography course.  I’ve only been talking about it for a year.  But hey, time and money you know.

About 10 weeks from now I will turn 50.  I’m so grateful to God for blessing me in my life thus far. I’m planning a big milestone birthday celebration!  It will be catered, my husband’s band (LeeAnn Womack’s band) will play jazz and I will be displaying 100 of my favorite photos from this blog.  My party guests, if they so choose, can take one home with them.    Maybe I’ll come back and post some photos from my party. (sorry about the name dropping, but that’s what we Nashvillian’s are so good at.)

I will be starting a new blog in the next month and it will be called “Grace Happens”. I will place the link to it on this blog in a few weeks. I don’t know if I will post on this blog anymore, I will probably incorporate my photos on the new blog. (That is, if I can figure out how to work WordPress.org) It’s greek to me so far.

I’m making it sound so final, but I will be visiting you guys from time to time.

Only one more tomorrow.  I’ll try to make it good. 🙂

The LORD bless you and keep you;  the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.

1 PicADay Project: Day 286

OMG !  I love Craigslist.  I just found another camera for my husband like the one I dropped and broke last fall in Asheville NC.  $65….just like it.  It’s a Canon SX110 IS .  Here’s it’s celebration ‘self portrait’ takenwith a 10x magnification mirror.

1 PicADay Project: Day 223

Here’s another ‘self portrait’…still playing with macro since I have my brother-n-law’s camera currently. Notice the reflections in my eye, such as my eyelashes and the outline of my glasses.  Of course I saturated it…my eyes are not this blue.

1 PicADay Project: Day 201

Ok, so I guess it’s way past due for a self portrait.  Here’s a self portrait in heat vision style.  I used my iPhone with Photogene and Cinema FX apps.  Does my yellow face mean I’m only luke-warm?

1 PicADay Project: Day 92

Ok – time for another self portrait.  My hubby says my lips are one of my best assets (blushing).  Here they are…in a little bit of a graphic design style.  Had to tweak color and contrast quite a bit to get this look. 🙂

Self Portrait # 2 (lips)

1 PicADay Project: Day 18

1 PicADay Photo #18 (iJan # 1)wm

Well aren’t all us bloggers vain anyway? Here’s the first of a few self portraits I’ll do this year…mostly unconventional since I don’t like my photo taken! I’ll call this one ‘iJan # 1’.

(I guess I should have worn some mascara) 🙂
