Krystal Klear

My imperfect but beautiful crystal that I keep on my desk.  I placed it in the sunshine in my car and snapped a photo.

1 PicADay Project: Day 289

Tiny Oil Lamp Base

I bought a tiny oil lamp in an Antique Store in an Amish Community near Nashville Tn a few years ago.  It’s only about 5-4 inches high.   While playing around with the macro setting on the Canon SX110 I took a photo of the lamp base.  I love the yellow and red colors of the glass.  (edited in Picnik)

The Present

I bought this watch for my husband last year as a gift.   Last night I played around with the macro setting on the Canon SX110.  I edited it in Picnik.

1 PicADay Project: Day 203

And here’s my little candle on my coffee table all by it’s self.  I love candles.  They make a room so cozy.  My husband says they just make a room hot.

1 PicADay Project: Day 202

Just my pineapple vase and candle that sit on my coffee table.  I love the colors and contrast in photos of glass.

1 PicADay Project: Day 194

My husband gets to travel in his career but I don’t. So, to compensate, I have started to collect dirt/earth from all over the world via family, friends or sometimes myself, when I do get to go.

Here’s a photo of some of my ‘earth vials’ that I’ve collected. Here’s just some of the places on Earth from which I’ve collected some ‘earth’.
* Las Vegas Strip
* Central Park
* Egyptian Pyramids
* Mt. Sinai
* Dead Sea
* US Captial
* Disney World
* St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

1 PicADay Project: Day 183

(WOW…I just realized that I’m now half way through my 365 day photoblog project!  I’m having so much fun!)

Believe it or not, this is the bottom of my empty milk glass with candle light shining through the bottom.  I saturated the photo to get these colors.  (beauty in the everyday)

1 PicADay Project: Day 165

Hanging wine glasses…made with my iPhone and edited on my iPhone.  I must get to a photography class and work with my SLR soon!!!  But the iPhone is so convenient and easy and small and fun.  Anyway art is art, right?
