1 PicADay Project: Day 9

• $85
• 2 hours to drive 30 miles (traffic was really backed up 5 miles from the fair exit)
• 30 minutes to park and walk in
• funnel cake,  cheeseburger, some fries, corn dog and an Italian sausage sandwich (not just for me….for entire family :))
• 3 rides
• some mediocre photos
• Priceless memories

Seriously I think that the Wilson County Fair is one of the best in the nation.  It is huge with one of the largest Midways I’ve ever seen.  I went with the intention of getting some great photos, however I didn’t take my tripod in or my larger camera.  Needless to say I wasn’t as pleased with the results as I could have been.

I’m posting this picture because it depicts what I think fairs and carnivals are all about.  And besides, I love monkeys!  We’ll call it “Just Monkeying Around”.
