1 PicADay Project: Day 356

Forest of Light

I previously posted a photo of this field of trees back in the spring.  Click here to see the  previous post.  I drove by a couple of days ago in the morning and because it was a little foggy, beams of sunlight were visable coming through the trees.  I had to stop to snap another shot.  I think I like this one better.  Which one do you like better?

Tupelo Street – Seaside FL

I’m not for certain, but I think this is the actual street that Jim Carrey drove down in the movie “The Truman Show” when he was trying to escape Seahaven.

1 PicADay Project: Day 315

Today i have a guest iPhone photographer. My husband is out near Denver Colorado on a farm with the only computer we have. I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do for my blog photo today until he sent me this beautiful photo he took with his iPhone about an hour ago. OMG, I wish I had taken this. It’s beautiful!
All I did was put a very small amount of “charmed glow” on it in CinemaFX app for iPhone.

1 PicADay Project: Day 308

Alabama the Beautiful

My children hate Alabama and it’s only because every time we visit their grandparent’s in Florida, we have to drive the whole length of the state  on ‘boring’ Interstate 65.

Of course along the way there are signs that say “Alabama the Beautiful” at which my children always scoff.  I’ve tried to point out a few things that are beautiful each time we make the pilgrimage from Tennessee to Florida.

My daughter and I stopped at a gas station along the way to Florida last week and I looked up and saw this beautiful scene. Maybe there is a little bit of truth in Alabama’s statement of how beautiful their state is.

Northwest Florida Beaches

The most beautiful beaches in the world are located in Northwest Florida. I don’t remember the name of the beach for this photo, but it’s located between Seaside FL and Panama City Beach Fl.  I have never seen any sand on any other beach more white than the sand in this part of the world. And as you can see, the color of the water can be quite beautiful and colorful as well.

1 PicADay Project: Day 285

Yellow Barn

I took this photo the other day off of Hwy 840, which is a bypass around our metro area.  It is a beautiful drive with hardly any cars yet and no billboards or other ugly stuff to wreck the beauty of the land.  I love the green of Tennessee in the spring and summer!

1 PicADay Project: Day 274

Guest Photographer : Randy Smith

The photo today was taken by my husband with his iPhone going 70 miles an hour in a bus down the road somewhere out west.  He can’t remember where, but I think it’s a wonderful landscape iPhone photo. The only editing done on this photo was to crop for rule of thirds.
